Maxwell BMSs are designed to meet the different integration needs of the applications. Based on our vast experience of having integrated and deployed with similar applications, Maxwell BMS has unique features developed that allows for easy integration and better performance. For industrial applications:

Support for High Current

These applications typically have high discharge current profiles to meet the performance needs. Such profiles require the use of electromechanical contactors for connecting and disconnecting the load and high range current sensors for measurement. Maxwell BMS have inbuilt contactor driver and dual range current sensor interface circuitry to enable easy integration.

Robust Design

Industrial applications are required to perform in harsh environmental conditions. Consequently, the sub-components also need to be designed for operation in similar conditions to ensure reliability. Maxwell BMSs are designed to handle such extreme conditions of temperature and humidity. . Additionally the design incorporates safety standards such as ISO26262 and ASIL compliance to meet the safety and reliability goals that different types of industrial applications need.

Extreme Configurability

From basic configurability such as nominal current, cell chemistry, cell S&P layout to advanced configurability such as SOX tuning, configurable RDC, SOP, CAN, are readily supported on Maxwell BMS through an easily accessible application layer. With this application layer, lead time in tuning the BMS as per the vehicle’s needs is faster and simpler.
